The 2023 XC40 has a newly designed front bumper, a remodeled frameless grille plate, and front fog light enclosures. Volvo has also reshaped the Thor Hammer LED headlights to make the SUV look more attractive and desirable. The interior and exterior mirrors have an auto-dimming element, rain-sensing wipers, traffic-sign recognition and a keyless entry and start. The new model also features aerodynamic rims, new exterior colors and graphic inlays.

The interior design of the new 2023 Volvo XC40 upgraded seats for extra comfort and technology that makes your time in the vehicle while making long trips worthwhile. The Volvo XC40 Recharge model has an exclusive Tailored Wool Blend upholstery made from 70-percent polyester and 30-percent wool. For contemporary and sustainable luxury, the upholstery has contrasting white piping. Furthermore, the new vehicle has an advanced air purifier system that prevents 80 percent of allergens and particles from entering the cabin regardless of the conditions outside.

Safety & Technology

The new XC40 is equipped with an infotainment system developed by Google, which comes with built-in Google services and apps. The infotainment system is convenient and intuitive, offering users personalization and unparalleled connectivity. These features include access to Google's navigation system, Google Assistant, and other in-car apps courtesy of Google Play. The vehicles are designed to receive updates on their operating system and software.

Volvo has made the XC40 safer and raised safety standards by equipping it with award-winning safety technologies, including the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. This sensor platform incorporates a modern, active safety system with cameras, radars and ultrasonic sensors.

One part of this system is the collision avoidance and automatic braking systems, which can sense vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists or barriers on the road and help you avoid collisions by warning you or automatically applying the brakes.
